Hi, my name is Bec Weekes and I am a tutor with Student Tutors. I completed my HSC in 2016 and have spent the last two years working as a Student Learning Support Officer. I am currently working at Narromine High School. This year I studied Medical Science at Charles Sturt University and in 2019 I will be studying Early Childhood and Primary School Teaching with CSU. My subjects of strength are Science, Maths and PDHPE but I also studied Advanced English for my HSC. My hobbies include netball, Netflix and animals. I have three dogs; a Border Collie named Ollie, a Blue Cattle Dog named Lucy and and a Chocolate Lab cross named Toby. I also have two beautiful long haired black cats named Mister and Maneki, and a rabbit named Tilly. I am very heavily involved with the Dubbo Netball Association as a player, coach, official and committee member and I am a founding member of Fusion Netball Club. I love working with people and teaching them new skills and understanding; this is one of the great things about being a netball coach and also being a tutor. I look forward to working with you 🙂 Thanks for reading my profile.

Originally a Solomon Islander, moved to Sydney 20 years ago from Papua New Guinea to study at uni. Graduated in 2001 and decided to look for employment opportunity and make Australia my second home. I have been married for 12 years and love life. My experience is mainly in the area of finance with 15 years experience in the not for profit sector, but I also have an undergraduate degree in secondary education, specialising in mathematics. I spent 20 years in Sydney then I wanted to experience regional Australia. An opportunity came up in Dubbo NSW as the Chief Financial Officer for Orana Gardens which is an aged care provider. So, been here since September 2018 and love the change and the convenience of a regional city.
