Hi! My name is Georgia Rae and I have just completed my first degree; a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Modern History and a minor in Education and Criminology at Macquarie University, Sydney. I plan to undertake further study in the future in the Psychology/Criminal Justice field. I have always found teaching to be one of my strong suits while growing up, and I believe that tutoring will allow me to encourage and inspire my students. During year 11 and 12, I became incredibly passionate about Modern History due to having a fantastic teacher, and as a result of this, I aim to inspire my students to love learning and to be passionate about their interests. Throughout my studies, I worked in two schools where I gained in depth experience teaching both primary and secondary students and this was where my enthusiasm for teaching truly began. I also developed my own strategies to help foster effective learning and study techniques. I believe that an effective education is the most powerful tool a person can have and being able to help nurture and motivate a student’s learning journey is something I value very much.
